R~P~S Privacy Policy

Geez, this is just a silly game, and we don't really collect anything more than your email address, but if you really care, here's an official privacy policy.

Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, folded, spindled, mutilated, filed, stamped, briefed, debriefed, numbered, or otherwise disclosed.   Any information you give to our site will be held with the utmost care, like an egg on a velvety pillow, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.   (Its split infinitive and trailing preposition aside, that previous sentence sounds like political doublespeak, doesn't it?  "Not be used in ways you've not consented to."  We should just say, "it will be used only in ways to which you've consented."  Sheesh.)

If you have any questions, please contact the Gamemaster.

Resale or disclosure of information to third parties

Dude, we just told you that we're not going to disclose your info.  Pay attention.  We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.

Browser information collected on this website

We collect your entire credit card history, a list of all pornographic material you've purchased in the last year, and five percent of your annual salary.  We'll also take a small DNA sample through your mouse.  We no longer require your signature in your spouse's blood, but if you send it to us, we'll find a use for it somewhere.

Other than that, our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Use of cookies

To use your cookie, grasp the two chocolately sandwich outer parts and twist them in opposite directions.  This should reveal the creamy center between them.  If you get a CreamyCenterUnderflowException, try invoking cookie.doubleStuff().

If you set the "save this info" toggle on the Challenge page, then we'll give you a tasty cookie.  This cookie is used to recall your email address and nickname next time you log in to play the game.  Toggle off, no cookie for you.  That's it.

Privacy of our email lists

Our email lists are private, so private in fact, that even we haven't seen them.  But if we ever get a mailing list together, rest assured that you'll be able to opt out of it.
